COS attorney, Jonathan D. Stokes, obtained a significant legal victory in securing over half a million dollars in unpaid wages, penalties, and attorney's fees for a former employee. On May 16, 2025, the First Judicial District Court for Caddo Parish entered final judgment in favor of our client on his unpaid wage claims under the Louisiana Wage Payment Act (LWPA). The Court awarded $475,107.23 in past due wages, $34,520.40 in penalty wages, attorney's fees, legal interest, and court costs. ¹
