Chadwick, Odom & Stokes partner, Jonathan D. Stokes, presented "What Do You Tell Your Clients When They Ask You About Their Non-Competes?" at the Alexandria Bar Association's "Three for Free" continuing legal education seminar on Friday, November 14, 2025.

The sixty-minute presentation covered the current state of non-compete law following the nationwide injunction against the Federal Trade Commission's Non-Compete Clause Rule. Stokes addressed Louisiana's statutory framework governing non-compete agreements, the twelve exceptions to Louisiana's general prohibition on restraints of trade, and practical guidance for advising clients on these evolving employment restrictions.

The seminar also featured presentations on local Clerk of Court procedures and 2025 tort reform legislative updates.
