COS attorneys, led by Gregory B. Odom, II, prevailed in a jury trial in which they defended a retail merchant against a premises liability claim. 

Plaintiff claimed that she slipped and fell in water from a leaking roof, and she attempted to relate significant medical procedures to the incident.  In closing argument, plaintiff’s attorney asked that the jury award his client $5.5 million.  The jury returned a verdict in favor of our client and found that it was not liable for the incident.
