Conner received her B.S. in Communication Studies with minors in Human Resources and Political Science from Louisiana State University. She went on to earn her J.D./D.C.L. from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center where she served on the Board of Advocates and was an executive board member of the Public Interest Law Society. While in law school, Conner worked as a judicial extern for the Hon. Erin Wilder-Doomes of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and as an extern for The Louisiana Department of Revenue.

Conner began her legal career as in-house counsel for the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation in Baton Rouge. Driven by a desire to be closer to family, she later relocated to Central Louisiana, where she now lives with her husband and three children.
